The mother of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr who was a doctor, and Thelma Burnell Henson Michele Carey whose birth name is Michele Lee Henson was born on February 26, 1942, in Annapolis, Maryland in the United States of America. When she was in her teens, Michele had mastered piano. at the age of thirteen, she was the winner of a competition at the Chicago Music Festival. The family settled within Fort Collins, Colorado with her family. She completed her high schooling at Fort Collins High School where she was graduated in the year 1960.
